Madison County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, order or complete a release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office that created or controls the record for those services.
Choose the Record Holder
Start with the agency responsible for the custody or court event. Madison County Detention Center is operated by elected Jailer Larry Brock. The Madison County Sheriff is a separate office, and the Sheriff's jail link points to the detention center's current system. A request for a jail release form should therefore go to MCDC or its designated records custodian, not automatically to the Sheriff.

The Madison County open-records page lists fcopenrecords@madisoncountyky.gov and an online form. Because the page covers Fiscal Court divisions generally, call MCDC first to confirm the jail custodian. The county publishes a fee of $0.10 per standard paper page. Actual media or mechanical cost, postage, and prepayment may apply. Kentucky's KRS 61.872 allows a sufficiently specific written request and does not require use of an agency's special form.

Madison court records are split by court function. The Circuit Clerk is at 101 W Main Street, Richmond, (859) 624-4713, with hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. District and Traffic Court is at the Hall of Justice, 351 W Main Street, Richmond, (859) 624-4722, during the same hours. District Court can hold arraignment and probable-cause records, while Circuit Court holds felony adjudication. The official Madison court page provides current routing.
For probation, parole, or mandatory reentry supervision, contact Kentucky DOC District 8 at 1036 Amberly Way, Suite C, Richmond, (859) 623-3297; fax (859) 623-9913. District 8 is a supervision office, not a jail. Do not request private reporting schedules or treat an office listing as incarceration.
Detailed state offender records require a written KDOC request. Email correctionsopenrecords@ky.gov and include a mailing address, or write to Kentucky Department of Corrections, Division of Public Affairs, Attn: Open Records Coordinator, P.O. Box 2400, Frankfort, KY 40602. The fax number is (502) 564-9575. KDOC posts charges of $0.10 per released page, $1 for a CD plus postage, and about $2.50 for USB media plus postage.
Kentucky VINE provides automated custody and release information around the clock at 1-800-511-1670. It does not cover BOP, USMS, and ICE in the same way as local jails and adult Kentucky correctional facilities. A BOP result may preserve a Released date. A USMS pretrial or transport case may require the federal court and holding facility because USMS has no matching historical public locator. An ICE no-result is not proof of release; use ERO or the holding facility after checking the Madison receiving-authority record.
